GRAFFITI - In mid-July 2011, the “Emancipation” project, with support from the Leteo Association, began a training process that gradually was transformed into a meeting place for knowledge sharing on issues including human rights, non-violence, conscientious objection, and the role of young people when faced with violations of their rights. Thanks to the support of Civis Sweden and the backing of the community in the San Francisco neighbourhood, more than 70 young people from Madrid and nearby municipalities met on September 10 and 11, 2011 to transform a five-meter high, nearly 40-meter long wall. Until then, this wall had been used by bazuco users to mix the addictive bazuco drug.
