I desert from being part of those who blindly obey

Because there are so many reasons… I am an Objector

 

Because I am convinced that no army defends peace …

 

I declare myself an OBJECTOR

to the idea of using a weapon to defend my land,

my people,

my life,

my dignity,

my freedom …

 

I DESERT from the group of the brainwashed,

of the bought-off consciences,

of the submissive,

of those who act without thinking,

of the jackals,

of criminal death,

of the unfeeling and selfish.

 

I DESERT from being part of those who

blindly obey,

the sexist and racist crowd.

I refuse to believe that there is anything

more important than the dignity of living.

 

That’s why I want to build

together with others

a world with more freedom,

dignity,

diversity,

friendship,

where smiles are instruments of communication,

a song expresses feelings,

emotions,

realities,

without fear of being forgotten,

where the world is flooded

with creative joy.

 

I declare myself a lover and defender of life.

I reach out my hand to join those

walking toward freedom and dignity

and I leave it out to receive all who will join us.

 

I declare myself an OBJECTOR, I declare myself a DESERTER.
